What is StemSplitPro?

StemSplitPro is a macOS app that separates a song into its individual stems — vocals, drums, bass, and more — using on-device AI. Import a track, choose how many stems you want and a quality mode, preview the result, and export the stems you want to keep.

How many stems can I get?

You can split a track into 2 stems (vocals and instrumental), 4 stems (drums, bass, other, and vocals), or 6 stems (drums, bass, other, vocals, guitar, and piano).

What do the quality modes do?

Fast does a single pass for a quick result. Balanced uses a fine-tuned model for better separation. Best runs a four-model ensemble with temporal shifts for the cleanest split — it takes longer, and StemSplitPro tells you the trade-off before you start.

What audio formats can I import and export?

You can import MP3, WAV, AIFF, M4A, FLAC, and CAF files. You can export stems as WAV, AIFF, or M4A, individually or all at once as a ZIP.

Is StemSplitPro free?

Separating and previewing stems is completely free and unlimited. Exporting your stems is unlocked with a single one-time purchase — there is no subscription.

Is my music uploaded anywhere?

No. Separation, preview, and export all run entirely on your Mac. Your audio never leaves your device. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

What do I need to run it?

StemSplitPro runs on a Mac with Apple silicon, because separation uses on-device machine learning. No internet connection is required to separate or export.

How do I restore my purchase?

Your purchase restores automatically when you reinstall the app or set up a new Mac. Open StemSplitPro and look for the restore option on the export screen if it does not restore on its own.
